The Hyundai Elantra includes great design and user-friendly technologies. This sixth-generation Elantra is redesigned features that give it improved fuel economy and ride quality. Under the Elantra's Hood

The standard engine in the Elantra is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine it is powered at 132 pound-feet of torque and 147 horsepower. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. The second engine option is a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine that is rated at 156 pound-feet of torque and 128 horsepower, but comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The third option for an engine is the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder. It has 195 pound-feet of torque and 128 horsepower. There are two optional transmissions: the six-speed manual and the seven-speed dial-clutch automatic.

Design of Hyundai Elantra

This four-door sedan includes four trim levels called SE, Eco, Limited, and Sport. The SE comes with all the base features. They include air-conditioning, full power accessories, a 60/40-split, cloth upholstery, six-speaker sound system, and with the automatic transmission the Bluetooth, cruise control, and steering wheel controls are added. The SE has a Value Edition that includes LED daytime running lights, hands-free trunk openers, keyless ignition and entry, a sunroof, leather wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Eco comes with the Value Edition features plus 15-inch wheels and no sunroof. The Limited has all the Value Edition features plus 17-inch alloy wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, chrome body trim, LED taillights, a power adjustable driver seat, leather upholstery, and the Hyundai Blue Link system. The Sport includes a lot of the Limited features plus 18-inch alloy wheels, bigger brakes, sport-tuned suspension and steering, special front and rear fascia, alloy pedals, and black headliner.

The features included are 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, 7-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, and a rearview camera.

The Elantra offers many active safety features. The features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, Smart Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross-traffic Alert and Lane Change Assist. The Automatic Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection uses radar and a camera to scan for vehicles and people in the path of the Elantra. The system will brake if the driver does not from up to 50 mph. The blind spot detection with rear cross traffic alert and lane change assist includes a radar based system that can detect when a vehicle is in the blind spot and will alert the driver to let them know it is there. The Dynamic Bending Light that can turn when the driver turns and goes with the curve as they turn the wheel.
